Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for celebrating the 10th anniversary of Owl's Nest with us last night at the Temple of Music and Art. You made it so special for us. If the CD line was too long for you last night, you can find "Viva La Diva!" at Antigone Books, Hear's Music, CD City, Borders, and Barnes & Noble.

Mr. Boogie Woogie's new CD went fast last night. He will have more in time for his official CD release party next Sunday, May 23 at the Boondocks (3306 N. 1st Ave.) This Blues & BBQ event will go from 5-8pm. The cover will be $8, $6 TBS. If you can't wait til then to hear Mr. Boogie Woogie again, come on down to Plush (4th Ave./6th St.) tonight (Sunday) at 8pm. He will also be at Perry's Lounge (1601 N. Oracle in the Arizona Plaza) Tuesday, May 18 at 8:30pm. Come celebrate my birthday and enjoy BW's amazing talents in Tucson's newest nightclub!

We have lots of great music events planned to keep you cool this summer. Here are just a few:

Every Wednesday night, KLH&E will perform at J Bar (on the grounds of La Paloma Resort) from 7-10pm. This fabulous four-o consists of Kathleen Williamson, Lisa Otey, Hal Rugg, and Eddy Delucia. Hal is in high demand all over the world so he will have to miss us from time to time. KLH&E is "jazzing up folk and folking up jazz!"

On Saturday, May 22, I'll begin a summer series at McMahon's Prime Steakhouse (Swan/Ft. Lowell). Enjoy McMahon's delicious menu and the intimate cabaret of Lisa Otey at the baby grand every Saturday night from 7-10pm.

On Tuesdays, beginning May 25, the Lisa Otey Band takes the stage at Perry's Lounge from 7-10pm. This will be a non-smoking event and will cost only $5.

Hope to see you there,
-Lisa
